The brand isn't as meaningful as the type. As in NO motorcycle/v-twin oil but rather a good race oil. Just about every brand has them. Synthetic or dino. Pick the brand that floats your boat.
Look for that telltale JASO rating that means it works in wet clutches and don't use it in your engine if you're really on a quest for the best engine oil.

I've used Brad Penn for a while, in various engines. Raw prices on it went up 3 or 4 times in the past year, old man still buys it for the race car but the bike is on Schaeffer's now.

 

So, how`s that ^ working out for you ?

 

I think oil should be added to politics and religion as the 3 taboo topics...and change the saying to; there are only 3 things in life that are certain..taxes, death and oil quality debates

 

Let’s just say, I have some regrets
