Default Mobil 1 V-Twin

Anyone know where we can get the Mobil1 V-twin oil in Houston area? Haven't been able to find it on the Northwest side.

TC has a link to an internet supplier that will deliver it to your door. It's in the DIY or Tech threads here somewhere.

This what you're looking for? It's in the DIY area under oil.

I have found it most AutoZone stores in my area (Florida). You may have to ask them for it as it does not have a regular place on the shelf with
the automovive oils.

North side resident here. I have purchased it at the Autozone on Airline near FM525. I think most of them have it - they just don't realize it. I've been using Mobil 1 synthetic 15-50 from Wal-Mart. I can't tell any difference except for the price. I've heard reports from knowledgeable types that is good to use. Harley's regular motor oil will absolutely kill your TC88.

Thanks for all the help. I'll try autozone next time I'm around one.

Harley's regular motor oil will absolutely kill your TC88.

Lots of people use it here because we don't get the same heat up here. But the syn oils are better. The Mobil1 15w40 car oil from WalMart doesn't have the additive package in it that the Vtwin does. So it will wear out faster. Plus you need to make certain it doesn't have moly in it if you are using it in your primary because it will call the clutch to slip. Mobil1Vtwin has no moly.
