MobilV-Twin, bearing damage?

Had a dealer tell me after asking him about Mobil , that his friend just brought his bike in and the motor has to be rebuilt. He said the only thing he did different was changed his oil, used Syn 3 the whole time he has owned his bike then went to Mobil 1, did about 100 miles and it locked up...................changed our oil before Daytona, used Mobil

Well boyz, I jst changed my HD 20w50 yesterday at 500 miles to Mobil 1 15w50 gold cap.
I will let you know if and when the motor seizes...

I did a lot of research, and for the $$$ this Synthetic is as good as it gets, especially when I plan to change it at the regular 5k intervals....

Careful, You might be a candidate for 'bearing skate' using 'dat voodoo oils. Dem voodoo oils be 'da work of 'da devil. Jus like dat damn ....foosball LOL!

I like all of you are a little conserned with all the reterick about oils.I am an autmobile tech and sell mobil 1 oils,and can buy it cheaper than most,I started some research on it and found this article,read and you will see all oils are about the same ,some give and take in different areas

I think most HD dealerships are full of Buell S--T. That has already been decided in a court and HD lost. Syn's are great and ask the watercooled bunch (who did not have Syn's but had their rice oil in theirs) at Daytona who sat on the side of Main street with overheated bikes. I had more fun telling them about Syn oil in my air cooled Hog.
