I am going to try to meet you guys in La Canada at the Shell station ( I know it well). I will be coming from Solvang which is around 175 miles away and I plan on drinking a few beers Saturday night. Can you please post or send methe route or suggest a place for me to meet you in case I don't get going early enough Sunday morning ?. Maybe Frazer Park ? .

frazier park truck stop gas station (the one right by the freeway) will probably be a gas stop.
from there, we will be heading to lockwood valley road to the 33 south to the deer lodge.

but i really dont know what time we might be getting there.

figure we are starting around 8:30 at the bottom of the forest. heading up to newcombs ranch, then heading south again to tujunga rd, south to the angeles highway, west to the 14, north towards lake elizabeth, and out past the rock inn, then out towards the 5 to frazier park.

i dont know how long it will take us.

we'll be leaving my place @ 7:45am sharp, so we should get there about 8:10-8:15ish.

Jefe, Emporers New Clothes and myself will be leaving from the Mobile station on ImperialHwyandthe57Frwy by7:30 so we should alsobe at the Shell stationaround 8:15.
This will be a long ride on alot of back roadsI suggesteverybodytry and bring at the very least some water and snacks just in case, See you all on Sunday.

I will PM my number to Nastyhd just in case. But it is now looking like I will not be able to make it.I have not seen my wife in several weeksand she is now asking me to ride home Sunday morning and spend the day with her and one of my grandsons. I would have a hard time explaining to her that the 7 hr ride there and back in the same day is too long when I planned to spend 10 -12 hrs riding with some buddies.
