if you guys are on the road NLT 0900, I am guessing you'll be passing the Border Patrol checkpoint around 10-ish (going at the posted speed limit of 75 mph, of course ).

I'll look into waiting for you guys there...honk your horns or rev your pipes when you see my orange-and-white bike (shouldn't be hard to miss). Then I'll jump right back into the freeway and catch up.

Senior - maybe you and I can go to SDHD if we are not picking anyone up at Nordahl? It would save some time and keep things rolling.
You will be riding past my place if you come down the Poway Road grade. I can meet you at the Mobil Station just past McDonald's on Poway Road at 8 to roll to SDHD for an 8:30 Depart for the checkpoint for a 9:30 pickup. Gotta roll down Poway Road before 8:30 because they'll close it for the parade that day.

where do they close poway grade at ?? I always turn off on espola rd hope its open that far..
