Patriot Guard mission today
Took off from work today and went on my first Patriot guard mission .
My boss was cool about it when I explained to him about the dishonorable Rev Phelps and his lot having been on the local new saying they were going to protest at CPL.Robert Jones funeral.

I spoke with the young soldier's uncle for a while when he came out of the service and asked me if I'd seen any of the protesters around.
I was happy to report to him that they had not shown their cowardly faces.
We chatted for a while about his nephew and his own son the soldiers cousin that he had grown up with and gone to school with.
He told me he had spoken with CPL Jones just two days prior to his death and told me what a great kid he was.
I had to really hold back the tears as this was getting me a bit choked up but I held the lump in my throat and hid behind my shades and kept my composure.
The gentleman said " Thank God for you guys" and told me how much the family appreciated our being there for them.
Made my heart swell with pride as we led the funeral procession to the cemetery in CPL Jones honor.
I urge anyone that can afford the time to join the Patriot Guard.
No one brings any politics to a mission,it's simply to honor the fallen heroes and their familys and to shield them from the likes of Rev Phelps.
