Powdercoat exhaust?

im sure the more experienced people will tell you better but from what ive been told by people on here they can be. the painter will use a higher heat powder coat and then theres something called ceramic. i just did my heat shields and had success with alot of sanding and pj1 fast black spray can. will prob go to powder coat in a year. like i said, the paint people will tell ya for sure! good luck

Make sure your coater uses a high temp coating. My friend went against the guys advise because he wanted a certain color and it started to discolor up by the heads from the heat. The black hi temp coating he used on my pipes still looks like new after a year.

your heat shields and mufflers can be coated no problem, without using high temp, actually i would stress not to, because in order to fully cure the high temp powder must reach operational temp (most cases is around 800+ degrees) your heat shields and muffler will come nowhere near that! it is all about prep bud, send them our way they will be perfect when you get them back!
