Default Powdercoat exhaust?

Can the pips on your exhaust be powdercoated and would the heat from the exhaust cause cracking, chipping, flaking or discoloration?

Make sure your coater uses a high temp coating. My friend went against the guys advise because he wanted a certain color and it started to discolor up by the heads from the heat. The black hi temp coating he used on my pipes still looks like new after a year.

your heat shields and mufflers can be coated no problem, without using high temp, actually i would stress not to, because in order to fully cure the high temp powder must reach operational temp (most cases is around 800+ degrees) your heat shields and muffler will come nowhere near that! it is all about prep bud, send them our way they will be perfect when you get them back!
