Default pulling dents in fuel tank

Looking at using a stud gun and puller to pull dent of of fuel tank. Suggestion on safe way without exploding tank? Some says to fill tank up with water? Has anyone done anything like this in the past?

I have done auto body work with this but not on fuel tanks.

Thanks

Default

just rinse the tank out really well... then run exhaust though it for like 5 min. we start a car and run pipe into the tank... this will get rid of any fumes. then you can cut and weld away bud
