I live in Wisconsin She lives in Florida. Got a call a couple hours ago my sister drove off a road on her new CBR500. Surgery to remove ruptured spleen. She is in ICU watching other bleeding and a possible ruptured lung by her broken ribs.

Feeling a bit helpless here. Say a prayer for her.

Update: She is sitting up and lab work is coming back good. Still in ICU and a lot of pain. Sounds like she started going off the road in a construction zone hit loose stone and high sided into the ditch. Apparently no road rash.

This is a real roller coaster. My sister was sent home last Thursday to continue healing. This morning she had enough of the elevating pain and went back to the ER. She is back in ICU with a tap of two liters of blood from her lung.
