Default Compensator or something else??????

I know there are tons of discussions about this already. And I have read til my eyes go blurry.
So here is what I have going on. Bike starts fine, no clunk. Idles good no noises. When I take off and roll the throttle easy going through the gears everything works and sounds normal. But when I get on it hard I hear a rattling sound in all gears and appears to be coming from the primary side. It just started on sunday. So I am wondering if my compensator is on its way out or if its something else? could a misadjusted clutch act this way?

BTW- I have a 08 FLHT with about 40000 miles and never had any issues

thanks in advance

Inner Primary Bearing perhaps?
All you can do is monitor it and if gets worse pull it apart and take a look and go from there.
