2009 ultra noise in neutral with clutch pulled

The noise is only in neutral with the clutch pulled. Happens more when bike is leaned to the right. Noise almost sounds like the starter engages to the ring gear but that is not happening. One intresting find is the clutch push rod is blue on both ends. Looks like heat damage. Unknown how old this damage is. I highly think it is not normal. Could not find any damage inside the primary other than the push rod. Thanks

May be a throwout bearing. The ends of the clutch push rod are heat treated so they will be a different color then the rest of the rod.

Drained the fluid, found metal in it. Pulled the clutch release cover and looked at the throw out bearing and it is fine. There is metal powder in the bearing housing assembly. What in the transmission could of failed?

One way to find out, open it up.
