Default Clutch Shell Wobbles - is it normal?

Hi everyone,

My clutch started to slip when I went full throttle at about 3700rpm in 5th gear. I adjusted the clutch, changed primary oil - no improvement. I took the friction plates out, they looked ok. I read in the forum, that I should change the spring plate in the clutch pack to 2 steel plates and a friction plate. Not sure if it's a good idea to change all the friction plates while the cover is off..

My biggest question is about the clutch shell movement. I noticed that it wobbles a little. Please see the video. Does it look like I need a new bearing? should i get the whole assembly instead?

It's a 2014 Iron 883 converted to 1200 with a heavy duty clutch spring.

Don`t see a video...

But clutch shells do wobble a bit.

The spring plate is always a good thing to toss into the scrap barrel...

Videos attached. It looks like they did not get uploaded the first time because of the size.

I think that is just the play in the bearing.

It's safe to say you are riding an HD but it would be nice to know which one, model year, and if there are any mods.

Probably should have looked at the video also.. Anyway there is slop on the hub bearing and I wouldn't be too concerned about it. Clutch plates can be glazed. I don't deal with sportsters very much tho. Personal preference is not to used a clutch that adds plates as it could drag.
