Back-bleeding as Shex describes works great. I have back-bled countless hydraulic slaves to the master on class 6 trucks.

In working on as many hydraulic clutches and brakes as I have I'll bet I'm like a number here.
I have a air operated vacuum bleeder ,mighty vac ,big syringe an a couple of sets of speed bleeders.
And according to what I'm doing have used one,or the other and on rare occasions have broke out all of them to get it done.
If there's trouble to be had it's most times a hydraulic clutch be it bike car or truck.
Sometimes ya just gotta find what works.
@Dan89FLSTC "I tried using the Mity Vac to vacuum bleed the clutch fluid, but it seems to leak a lot of air past the threads of the bleeder valve."
Some dielectric grease on the threads has done me good in when getting air going past the threads
