I have always done hydraulic brake bleeding, flushing etc. using the old school method.

Yesterday I used a Mity Vac to vacuum flush the fluid on my `19 Electra Glide Standard, it worked great.

I don`t think I will go back to the old school method...

Oh, and I hate DOT 4.

When I installed my Muller, I also installed a speed bleeder. Works for me.

I did as well. Used the old school method the first time when I installed it, worked fine, then used my MightyVac when I did it the 2nd time,

Back-bleeding as Shex describes works great. I have back-bled countless hydraulic slaves to the master on class 6 trucks.

What size speed bleeder is needed for the Muller Hydro?

I tried using the Mity Vac to vacuum bleed the clutch fluid, but it seems to leak a lot of air past the threads of the bleeder valve.

I gave up on the Mity Vac and did it the old school method.

In working on as many hydraulic clutches and brakes as I have I'll bet I'm like a number here.
I have a air operated vacuum bleeder ,mighty vac ,big syringe an a couple of sets of speed bleeders.
And according to what I'm doing have used one,or the other and on rare occasions have broke out all of them to get it done.

If there's trouble to be had it's most times a hydraulic clutch be it bike car or truck.
Sometimes ya just gotta find what works.

@Dan89FLSTC "I tried using the Mity Vac to vacuum bleed the clutch fluid, but it seems to leak a lot of air past the threads of the bleeder valve."

Some dielectric grease on the threads has done me good in when getting air going past the threads

Never used a speed bleeder before. Do you take it out when you're done or what ?

No. the speed bleeders replace stock and stay on. The difference is there is a check ball that doesn’t allow air to go back in. On stock bleeder, you have to slightly open the bleeder, pull lever, then close bleeder. With a speed bleeder, you slightly open it and pull the lever. The check ball blocks air from going in so you don’t have to keep closing it. You simply keep pulling the lever until bled, then close the bleeder when done. This is a rudimentary explanation.
