I accidentally loosened the bolt/nut under the transmission on a 98 sporty thinking it was the drain plug. I found the drain plug for the 1 qt. of70 weightoil behind it but now I need to reset the tension of the primary chain. Does anyone know how tight/loose the chain is supposed to be? Do you just eyeball itfrom the tranny fill hole? I should have taken it over to Wild Bills Harley shop. Thanks from New Mexico. Derrick.

Update: Wednesday April 2... I was told by an amigo it is 1/2 inch of play in the primary chain. If this sounds wrong to anyone could ya let me know? Thanks.
