A bad ratlle started in what I thought was the transmission. Freaked out and got it to the dealer ASAP. Turns out the inner primary bearing was bad. Bike has only 3,400 miles on it. $442 later it rides great and shifts like a dream.

Few questions: 1. Did I get screwed on this repair? 2. Is it common for this bearing to give out on this model at such low mileage? 3. How easy would it have been to repair myself? (i'm pretty good with a wrench)
