I got one for Christmas and it is here still sitting in the box on my desk. Been snowing and COLD here and the bike is still covered sitting in the garage.

There is an extra wire located next to the cannon plug on the wiring harness. Here is the Quote from the included instructions.

"Alternate Option or for Remote Controllers: Remove WHITE/VIOLET wire form sleeve & connect to momentary +12 Volts to change patterns. Every time +12 Volts is applied & removed a new pattern will be sellected. Let the light run the desired pattern for 8 seconds to store."

Doesn't give you anymore info than that. I believe a simple contact switch is all that is needed.

There are 23 patterns to choose from which include 10 Parade Modes, 8 Brake Tap (not sure what that is) and the rest are Brake/Signal Alert modes. There is also 3 different light intensity levels also.

The first time I saw this light in action was on the back of a State Trooper's Harley (they have 4 Harleys in service: small state). It diffinently made a statement to me and I knew I had to have one. Begged my local dealer and he knocked 20% off. They are not cheap but sure is one hell of a light. Once you see one in person, you will be convinced.

Try a 3 foot piece of one inch chain. I pull in out og my coat pocket and get instant results. If the person doesn't back off whip it through the windshield.

1.) Is the 4 LED version more than bright enough to get those @#!% tail gaters off my a$$?

2.) Can you (or your ol' lady...ol' man) change settings on the fly (While riding)?

3.) Are there any other anti-tail gater products out there that compare?

Thanks

1. Yes

2. Is there a need to, or why would you want to?

3. Yes, I guess. Custom Lighting who is a sponsor on this site says that his is comparable, but I have not tried his product.

Bottom line is; is your life worth the cost of a BAL of which is $200 bux?
