Thumbs down Saddlemen Deluxe Saddlebag Chaps with Storage Bags

I recently purchased Saddlemen Deluxe Saddlebag Chaps with Storage Bags from JP Cycles. Good idea but awful execution! The saddlebag chaps mount to the lids by stick on Velcro that does not do the job. I cleaned the lid and followed the direction to a T and it still come off during our trip. They used push down lock clamps for the straps that hold the bag to the chaps and they can easily come undone (passenger can hit them while getting on and off the bike). On mine the front tab on the right side came loose some how on the second day of our 10 day trip going 65mph; the wind caught the bag and swung it to the rear where it landed on the exhaust melting the bag and every thing inside it before I could get to the side of the road. We lost about $500 worth of stuff in the bag (mesh jacket, wife’s purse and most of its contents (including cash), two pair of shoes, gloves, ipod, etc). See photos attached. I would not recommend this to any one. When I was installing them I thought to myself the push down strap locks that hold the bag to the chaps look like they can come undone easily and I was right. I should have packed them back up and sent them back!
