Well, after a nights reflection, west and North are roads I have ridden. So South it is. Heading towards Moab, Monument Valley, The Grand Canyon and Route 66. That is, after coffee and breakfast.

I ran interstate 15 from Idaho Falls to just south of Pocattelo, then headed east on 30 which is a pretty nice Hwy all the way to 80. This is the first of several passes up and down.

I got to Green River Wyoming and found a room. Nothing to see here..move on. Tomorrow I head South again down through Flaming Gorge. And see where I end up.

 

I wish I would've known you where going that way, 189 north out of Kemmerer there's a pull off out there and on a clear day you can see the highest point in Wyoming and the highest point in Utah , pretty cool spot! Then you can take 372 into Green River, well if someone reads this maybe they will remember. So what side of the gorge are you going down if I can ask? Jmo but I would go down the west side and I would take the tour again at the dam, they will take you down through the power house below, and it's free! We were there in June, lots of water going through the overflow tubes the day we were there, water speed estimated at 80 mph!

 

If you don't mind riding on gravel I would think about doing the Moki Dugway!
