You could easily spend a week in AR. Pretty much anything west of US67/167 and north of I-40 is good

A couple of suggestions besides the Talimena:

AR7 from Harrison to Hot Springs
AR23 (Pig Trail) from Eureka Springs to Booneville

Then while you're there go to the east and run AR309. Then while you are there go over to Dardanelle and ride up Mt Nebo, then... you get the idea!

 

That's a great ride, I've done it twice myself. In fact, there's a lot of great riding in eastern OK/western AR! A guy's gotta eat, so I recommend the Chopping Block BBQ in Mena, Ar.

 

Doing that route this weekend from Mena westward, then down to Broken Bow for pizza at Grateful Head. Mmmmmmmm!

Has the Queen Wilhelmina Lodge reopened after renovations? It's located on top of the trail in the midway between Talihena and Mena. Favorite place to spend a night.

This is a ride I've been wanting to do for years - and this year may be my year.

 

Do it! There's plenty of great riding on the way there, too.
