NJ to Nashville and Frankfurt KY then back
trying to plan out our next trip for the late spring/early summer next year we live in northern NJ and usually do a 6 day trip on the bikes every year. next year i want to do at least one day at buffalo trace distillery. my plan is a 2 day voyage out to nashville. day 3 head up to bowling green for the corvette museum tour and then back to Nash for the night. day 4 up to KY to get a tour of the buffalo trace distillery and then just hang out for the evening. days 5 and 6 head back to NJ.
so my question is.... is there anything interesting or anywhere interesting to stop along the routes to and from?

Did that drive in my F150 from the Turnpike to Nashville/Franklin, I-76/I-81/I-40 stayed a few days (business trip) and then back, but drove straight through, so I can't comment on stops or things to do on the way. But beautiful ride, and be sure to visit Franklin, historical and a number of good restaurants there (and the Jack Daniels Distillery is just about an hour's ride south-next trip for me).

Yep! Did that tour on my way out to the Kentucky Bike Rally. You'll definitely see some interesting things at this rally.

Im wondering why you plan on using a full day at the Buffalo Trace distillery. The complete tour takes about 1 1/2 hr, the tasting bar about another 30 minutes. It does have the best distillery tour and it's free where the other charge anywhere from $10 to $20. Bardstown is a great little town, pubs with good food. Check it out on Google. While in Bowling Green you might want to take in the corvette assembly plant. Sort of an "eye opener" especially if you ask the right questions.

We rented a Camaro for WS17 this summer in Maggie Valley. Our holiday included driving to Frankfort for NASCAR race. So instead of using the super slab, we plotted our destination in the GPS (avoid freeway) and away we went. It took us to Abraham Lincoln's birthplace, his second home, Mammoth Caverns and rode some really awesome roads with hills and twists! Was a hoot!
