It was! i still have a lot of photos, been very hard to find the time to get things posted. I have limited access at work of which i works midnights. anyway, the airports are not as nice as the ones in the states, we landed on the tarmac in Berlin and was transferred via 1 bus...all of the people on the plane on 1 bus. very crowded. Graffitti everywhere in italy, from the small villages to the big cities. refugees on every street corner in Italy, wanting money or for you to purchase fake watches and trinkets. The alps and dolomites are steep and craggy and the roads were basically goat trails turned into roads. Our tour company was kind of add. we had nice dinners almost everynight , formal where required. But the leader kind of wanted to give us lessons and lecture rather than have nice decent conversation. we made do. they did a great job with the hotels and travel arrangements but were rather slow with the mapping of the routes at times. all in all, i would do it again in a heartbeat. I think i would have the company set me up hotels and I would plan my own route. Switzerland, Austria, Norther Italy, Bavaria were all excellent riding and the mountain range between Bologna and Pisa was also very cool. I could have done without the factory tours but probably would have enjoyed them if i did go. Being my first time to Europe, there was much to see and still just scraped the surface. I am back to touring the states with a trip to Hawaii next season

Nice to see that you enjoyed a little bit of Europe, need to make my own plans to make more trips in Europe, but am limited in the number of holidays I have (only 40 working days per year) so have to make choices!!

I would not go in to Switzerland personnally I find it way too expensive to drive/ride/eat in!!
