Default LaCrosse WI to Green Bay WI

What would be the nicest route to take and popular places to stay for the night with a little night life. I am going on up into Michigan after this but was curious what you guys thought would be the most scenic route. Thank you

Not the most direct route but La Crosse to Prescott WI along the Mississippi River valley is about as good as it gets. From there it's straight east along I94 then take 29 at Elk Mound. Those two are 4 lane with faster speed limits but not very scenic.

One thing you don't want to miss if you have never been there before is Doc's HD. It is arguably the most unique dealership there is. It's west of Green Bay on Highway 29. Here is the link.

doc feeds the gators saturday mornings, i think it's at 10 am. fun to watch. staying anywhere near lambeau field will provide you with plenty of entertainment near by. from la crosse taking highway 33 through wildcat mountain is pretty nice.

I would head South out of Lacrosse, then over to Westby/Cashton. The Driftless area over there has some great riding. From Cashton, take 33 towards Ontario and Wildcat Mountain State Park. From there you can start working your way North. Door County is also a nice ride if you are spending any time in the Green Bay area.

I forgot about Doc's, definitely worth the time to stop.

The consensus I will need to stop at Docs. Thinking when I hit LaCrosse I would like to stay North of I-90. I would like to spend more time around the Lake Michigan and Superior. I was thinking maybe going By Pettenwell Lake and following that up to Stevens Point? Somewhere East of LaCrosse I will need to find a nice town and place to stay in for the 1st night.

Hwy 33 is a must imo. I think LaCrosse to Hillsboro is the best road in the state. Then 80 to 21. Then work your way to Manitowoc by 21 to I41 to hwy 10 to hwy 42. Take hwy 42 along the lake to the north for great lake views to hwy 57 into Green Bay.

doc's is about 20 miles west of green bay. if you get a chance hwy 55 through menominee county/reservation is a great road, it's north of shawano which is about 10 miles west of doc's. it follows the wolf river and it's very curvy with small hills.
