Have a good ride, I'll be watching this one. I'm preparing a bike for the trip, probably in the summer of 2021.

Stayed at little KOA in goodland last night. Real quiet and very clean. Had a Kamping cabin which was nice being temp was 94 when stopped. This morning is very nice at 67 degrees.

Today will leave the great state of Kansas and head across Colorado. Be going thru Denver on 70 then will pickup US 40 head up over the mountains and thru Stesmboat Springs. US 40 on the map looks like Chinese noodles all piled up so should be great ride today.

Wish I had known about your trip sooner. I live about 50 miles south of Joplin and would have loved to ride up and talked about your trip. I lived in AK for several years and rode up the Al-Can during a trip from Florida to Homer a few years back. Good luck and take as much time as you can. It is absolutely the ride of a lifetime.

Have a great trip, have done it in a big truck, a pickup and when I moved back south on the Ultra Classic Definitely a bucket list ride. Need to do it again!

ugh yeah the dreaded butt pain when traveling. Not a cure all but those wooden bead seat covers make a huge difference. Lets the air flow. With that being said I have plans of sending my seat out over the winter to be redone
