If I can hi-jack your thread: From Ft Wayne, Indiana, I want to do a ride up the west side of Lake Michigan coast up to the bridge and stay in Mackinaw City on Saturday night. Any suggestions on a good place to stay in the City that welcomes bikes and has a Jacuzzi? Any help on the route will be appreciated too. Thanks.
This an annual trip for us and we always stay at the Comfort Inn Bridge View. You can get a Jacuzzi suite (we always do) and they will let you park your bikes for the under the canopy. Enjoy it's a great time. Dont waste your time heading east along Lake Huron down towards Alpena as it is very boring. Rather go across the bridge and enjoy the UP. We are heading backup that way in 2 weeks.
