So, the plan was to head from Cumming, GA all the way up to the Foothills Parkway this weekend. We stopped for lunch on the way and I asked another biker, "How far out from the parkway are we?" He says "Not far, but a long ride with The Dragon.

??? I knew the route, (roads, direction, etc) but failed to pay attention to the nicknames of the roads and ended up riding the dragon by accident...

Well, it was AWESOME! I actually appreciated traffic for once (it was a VERY busy Saturday on there) but I got to really enjoy the ride.

Even got a few pics of the ride... How far from the asphalt is my kickstand in the second picture?????







Anyway, if you are a "go-fast" rider, do not go here on the weekend!!! If you like to cruise, it really is a nice ride. Just use the pull-offs when necessary and beware of those cars and trucks that cross the center line or just completely take your lane while cutting a curve!

Yes I do live in Cumming, near Hwy 20 & Dr.Bramblett.....
I'm sure we have crossed paths along the road......I ride a 2010 Ultra, black & chrome......
The wife and I rode the dragon a few months ago. The weather was unlike yours.....We had a monsoon hit us and were soaked for 8 hrs straight. Not a good way for the wife to experience it.....
