Default Road Trip

I have to go to L.A. for a meeting, had a word with the finance dept and they agreed to give me the cash so I can ride it instead of flying in, gives me some time out and an excuse for a 4500 mile round trip on the bike, sweet.

Nice! I'm going to be heading to Georgia next summer on my bike. Let me know how the trip goes. What route are you taking?

I am planning a fairly direct route over with a different route back. Not decided exactly what yet.

When does this happen? weather can be a serious factor especially this time of year.

Cool! Interesting your employer will allow this from an insurance viewpoint. None of mine would ever allow me to take company travel on my bikes....liability reasons. Have a blast and if you come through The Land Of Enchantment give me a holler and I'll buy you a beer.

Be careful crossing Texas. There is a stretch on I10 that doesn't have a gas station for at least 60 miles. I can't remember exactly where it is but there are no warnings...Maybe someone will chime in? I will also say that people in LA drive like idiots...I will NEVER venture in to that state again unless forced by dear old Uncle Sam...

I have only ridden once in LA, I have ridden NM quite a lot though.
