At 52yrs old, I haven't admitted to being jealous of any man, but dude, you're my new hero!! lol. What an awesome adventure!!! I looked at many of your pics in amazement, amazement that you pulled this off riding alone, and had the nads to take some passages that didn't look suitable for a burrow, let alone a bike! lol.
My wife and I have been fortunate enough to travel a lot of this wonderful country, via RV, but your review has me wanting to hit the road this morning on the bike!! Thanks for taking the time to post this awesome recap of your journey.

You are more than welcome!
Hahaha! Appreciate that!
That app is called MotionX-GPS. I just used that to track my route and send emails to my wife and daughter when I'm mobile (does it automatically) every hour.

another thanks for the trouble to put this on! and for reposting. Enjoyed for sure. Cool how many of the sights we have done, including getting lost once off of LA 2 that my wife and I still laugh about. In fact we both did when I showed her your pic.
If you ever get to do AR again, we have some great areas. Much better than the southeast corner you cut through. But at 700 miles a day, you'd do the whole state in no time.....
happy trails and God bless

Fantastic trip and story! I am happy you had the opportunity to make it happen!
I am hoping to do something like that soon while finishing out the lower 48 running the USA Four Corners Tour. Glad to see someone else that loves to pound the pavement, run hard and long, see very cool stuff, and enjoy it like I do!
I have just one question for you. What mount are you using for your iPhone? I see you have the Lifeproof case. I have the case, but haven't found a mount for it yet.
