Default Lost my gold key.

Moved about 9 months ago and I remember my wife showing me she had my gold key that came with my 09 CVO Fat Bob. We were packing. Somewhere in the chaos of moving I can't find that gold key. Anyone know if it can be ordered. I'm sure it's some where packed away and not likely to be found.
Thanks,
Gary

I dunno about ordering a new one, But mine is the same place as yours. After moving twice and not seeing it in between I don't know where it is packed up at. I have not worried about it as I would never use it to start the bike anyway.

It is part number 71031-04. You can buy it but it is VIN restricted. MSRP is $90....ouch.

At $90, I'll keep my eye on mine a little closer.

Default Standard fee for programming a FOB

Had a new fob programmed today. $80. That sounds ridiculous but I paid. Just wondering if that is the normal price or has my dealer nailed me again. I have two Harley's and I'd hate to make a brand switch but honestly I feel like I'm getting gouged every time I go to the HD dealer. Victory is starting to look reasonable.

Maybe edit the title.

Your dealership probably is gouging you. Ask other riders in your area about a good independant shop (good= honest, integrity, know what they're doing) and get your work done for much less.

I get all my work done at an independant shop unless it's warranty. They even get HD parts for me (through a deal they have with a nearby dealership) cheaper than I can get them at the dealership!

I dunno if that would be the same, I was thinking that mine was keyed the same as both of my REAL keys, but I guess for the person to say hey I have the gold key it would be fine.
