Upgraded speakers for RG Fairing??
Been working with a friend that has a new 2012 RG CVO and want to really belt out sounds while cruising the freeways... He is getting lowers but the hassel with the Heavy Breather and lower speakers is not to his liking and how much can the lower speakers be heard at freeway speeds..
So, plan be is to upgrade the fairing speakers OR does the CVO already have good fairing speakers..
Anyone here gone for Better fairing speakers and found a great pair??
Thanks

J&M Rokkers and the J&M amp will really make your RG rock. My buddy has them in his CVO RG Ultra. The CVO comes with the Boom speakers with the Boom amp already. HE did some testing on the Rokkers in hsi ride comapred to the Booms.

The speakers in the lowers do make a big difference in sound, but he would have to get a different air cleaner as the fairing speakers wont fit with the '12 cvo RG air cleaner. Maybe get the speakers for the saddlebag lids? They are nice too, but more sound comes from the lowers vs the saddlebag lids.

Yep,and keep in mind even if you get the compact air filter for the SE heavy breather it still won't fit with lower speakers. It was super tight on mine with just the lowers. My right glovebox was useless.
