Ordered the Fullsac 2.25 power core SD

so after many emails with Fullsac...by the way they are very helpfull...they are the best!
after being told that I wouldn't lose any HP or torque (might even get 1 or 2hp) by using the 2.25 SD with my stock header pipes and that the 2.25 sd are the same as the regular 2.25 just a little louder. I pulled the trigger and ordered them....didn't really care about hp numbers as long as I didn't lose any hp or torque...just looking to get a better sound (low end) on my 2012 cvo roadglide
as soon as I get them I will post a before and after video
because when I was trying to research the 2.25 SD I couldn't find any info on them.

Road Rage,

You are on the right track!

Too better your bike's performance and heat management, why not get rid of the cat, and add Fulsac header and the "new" TTS Mastertune turner?

You will be happy that you did it!

Good Luck with your project and Ride Safe,

YELLOWBIRD

that's the plan....next season comes the fullsac headers and tts tuner...just wanted to get more sound right now...I get cut off left and right driving to Boston all the time. No one can hear me coming. So right now it's just a sound thing...
Yellowbird
did you do fullsac cores? did you leave the packing in? that's what I'm thinking about now leave or not to leave the packing in

RR,

I left the packing in. These baffles WILL get louder within time. Prior to the fulsac set-up. (headers, 2.25 baffles, and TTS) I had V&H Dresser Duals and Rineys 3.5 inch. That set up sound really good. Sounded like a harley!

However, the rineharts baffles came loose, and the "tinny sound" that Rineharts makes and riding on longer rides, was too much for me.

I couldn't be more happy w/ the fulsac set up.

You may want to think about the their new fulsac "sportpipe" which is a true Harley-Davidson 2-1-2 with the cat removed. If I am correct it's like $279 with a return of your stock HD pipe. Or $399 for the the pipe and no trade in.

Either way, I think you will be happy!

Good Luck again,

YB

RR,

Sorry, forgot to add.

I like the "stock look" but with some muscle sound!

Doesn't sound like a $33,000.00 sewing machine!

YB
