What do you know about trhe history on the bike? Looks like about the only part not there is the ribbed black plastic fin that goes on the ham/air cleaner cover.
According to what info I have MoCo sold 9,942 FXEF Fat Bobs in 1979 - 4,678 were 1200 models. You definitely have a nice find there.
Depending on the environment it was in, replacing hoses, flushing the tanks, cleaning the carb and definitely fresh rubber would be the minimum maintenance needed to ride it. And if you are lucky you might be able to get to winter before having to replace base gaskets and cylinder head gaskets. Think I would also pull the clutch plates and clean them.

Thanks for all the replies. I have been around HD Forums for a while and have a 06 dyna. This bike really got me motivated to figure out how to post pictures. As for the FXEF I have been trying to buy this since 2005. This is a one owner bike and was riden 3450 miles then put away in garage somewhat heated in winter. This is the bike I wanted to buy in the late 70s but never got. The only thing besides the plastic thing under the air cleaner somebody mentioned missing is the rubber filler under the speedo tach dash. I believe the vin # puts it in the 2000s so it must be an early one. The owner said he has more paperwork on the bike which I am waiting for. I know everyone is wondering what I paid,so what do you guys think in the condition it's in what you would have offered for it.
