Rear Foot Peg 7/16" 14 Pitch
Sometimes simple things can be a royal PITA.
Was looking to add passenger pegs to my '75 FXE. Checked the threaded hole in the mount on the swing arm and it is 7/16 with a 14 pitch. I confirmed with my thread restorer kit, the 7/16 14 fits the threads like a glove.
According to the Harley parts manual the correct bolt for the passenger clevis could be a 1/4, 3/8 or 1/2". But not a 7/16". And I can't find a 7/16 14 threaded clevis on the inter webs.
What are the odds that the mounting hole was drilled and re-threaded?

its already bigger in size but we would just make a adapter to down size it and loc tite / stake it in place - the 7/16 part of it and go back to what you can locally buy that everyone sells
