while we are waiting for john's computer, I think hellownewman wants to put together a 'correct' 66 FLH. Parts plainly stamped -73 just wouldn't be right.

THIS IS THE SET OF 4 DIFFERENT TYPES FROM THE ALLOY

THE ALUMNIUM TYPE 1948 TO 1952 ONLY AND NO OIL HOLES - THEN NEXT IS THE CORRECT 1953 TO 1972 STYLE CAST IRON PART NUMBER ENDING IN -53 - THEN THE 2 TYPES FOR THE REST == THE 1973 WITH THE TAPER SCREW HOLES WAS ALSO THE END OF 1/4 24 THREAD SCREWS - AND THEN THE 12 POINT POST SCREWS WITH THE 1/4 X 20 THREADS

I just saw a pair on ebay that are from a duo glide and one says 18610 and the other18600 like my chrome ones. So mine are correct but chromed by the looks of it and the external numbers removed?

an add to this I forgot the 12 point screws when the lifter blocks first changed the threads stayed 1/4 24 - with the new 12 point screws till early 1976 production bike then late production bikes changed to 1/4 20 - 12 point - forgot this when I wrote that
