Thanks Twisted. Wife describes it as a sickness. I haven't looked into it but do they make a 6v AGM battery that fits in the horseshoe oil bag? Thanks John just looked up the regulator. May be a winter project.

I installed a Lithium "Anti Gravity" battery in my Flathead about 2 years ago. No acid, and really small. I am converted to 12v, but they make 6v as well. I bought one of those "fake" battery boxes that looks like a stock battery from back in the day, then I stuck the Lithium inside with some foam blocks. looks 100% authentic from the outside, but it is hi-tech on the inside. And no damn acid ruining my bike. Not cheap batteries, but a real good upgrade.

I believe DK Customs, on of the site sponsors, sells them. I also believe he gives Forum members a discount. Good luck.
