New to me 82 FXR with fully built S&S motor
Just wanted to share that I recently acquired my late friend's 1982 FXR, fully built and cammed S&S motor. I got it under unfortunate circumstances, but it's in good hands and I'm honored the family chose me to have it.
Being this is my first shovelhead, I was hoping ya'll would be able to give me some good tips on maintaining this bike and if you have any tips or tricks with this. Not sure how hard these are to work on.
Only thing wrong with it is the family tipped it over when picking out up so it has a nice dent in the tank and rear fender (which they already purchased an oem replacement tank / fender, but I'll be responsible for getting them painted). And the shifter is really sloppy.
Thank you in advance.

Not taking away from folks that use an S&S engine but once the HD numbers disappear it is just a nice special construction motorcycle
