Default Any value to 1976 OEM Tour Pack and Fairing?

I'm looking to do a build to a shovel, and I'm not too worried about originality. I found a running FLH which is exactly what I need, but it's TOO original for comfort which of course drives the price up. It has the original 1976 touring items that I really have no interest in.

Question is, would there be any value to this stuff (bags, fairing, etc) if I tried to sell it separately? It has the original badges on the saddle bags and the original tour pack and fairing. I can even include all the tin if necessary. If so, are we talking a couple hundred? A thousand?

Any opinions would be helpful.

Thanks!

Those bags are getting quite hard to find ... I remember picking up a complete set, mounts, locks, keys and rear bottom cross brace ( FX style ) at a Detroit Swap Meet years ago for $100.00 ... Just had a friend offer me $500.00 for the set ... No sale

Obviously not original paint, but yes they all have a value. A set of those saddle bag lid emblems, NOS in a box, are on the Bay for over $300. Get on the Bay and do some research, some of it is worth more than other parts, but Milwaukee steel (and fiberglass) all have value, good luck.

Thanks for the feedback - I’ve been looking on eBay but didn’t come across that... I will keep checking.

West coast value for bags, pack and hardware is $300-500. Maybe a bit more for the right customer.

So what's the plan for the Shovel build?
