Can't help you with the Harley but (as an employee of GM, at least as of today)
There's the 69' Z28 Camero.
It has the GM 302, yes GM made a 302 (besides Ford) and I happen to have (2) of them in storage... ha ha ha.
I remember the 302 it had a duntov 30-30 cam in it-- solid lift really bad gas milage in a street car but a sweet sound coming out the back -- incase you don't have the specs
Duntov 30-30, P/N 12-673-4, specs are:
advertised duration: 284 intake/291 exhaust,
duration @ .050 : 247 /254 ,
lift : .504" / .498",
lash: .012"
lobe center: 112 degrees --- they also made a hyd lift one
Matthew it's up to you of course , but i'd move more towards original style than away from it . even if you don't spend the big bucks for original parts .
it's a pretty nice looking ride as it is .

The Fatboy style and paint like that didn't come out until 1990, so definitely not an original look for a shovel.
Looks OK, if the owner likes it, but not original.

The bike is actually a super glide fxe. Someone tried to make it a Fatboy look a like. It's nothing close to original. I personally think a Bike should have character that represents the rider.
