​​​​​​One of my Shovels on an abandoned ex-Sovjet airstrip in eastern Germany.
Very unreal to race it down the 2,4 km runway where the last Migs took off 25 years ago.

2005 fully redone engine with 5342 miles, Motor cases are stock with all S&S internals, 4 1/4” stroker flywheels, 3 5/8” cylinder, S&S oil pump, S&S duel plug heads, Roller rockers, Solid lifters, 514 S&S Cam, Dyna single fire ignition, Braided cables and lines, Revera pro-clutch, New 4-speed trans, Cal products primary, GMA calipers, Chain tensioner on rear chain and primary, Softail 40-spoke rims, 1939 ford tail light, 14” Burly Bars

very nice, I currently picked up a 1975 superglide this summer, WIP, got it running after sitting for 15 years, any tips or advice, thx.

very cool bike, i have same year bike, I started out on my first Harley, 1982 lowrider, kicked myself for getting rid of it, always said I would have another shovel, so I have spent the summer getting mine organized, posted pics on this thread today, enjoy, cool little bikes,

Nice looking as it sits. What work is there to do on it other that the usual stuff after having sat for 15 years?

Somoenoe definitely put some money into a custom paint job.

What's the history behind the Bike?

nice bike, had an 82 at one time wish i still had it, riding a 75 fxe now, from Canada as well, ( Ontario)

well yes the usual stuff, bearings, brakes, pads , rebuilt swingers, fixed wires, new starter, coil, wires, points, condenser, checked advance, tunes up, new michelins.......new rear master...ooh boy, the paint is ok, nothing special, it is ok for now, will likely return to original once my bank account regenerates...fun bike, think I will keep this one.oh and tranny seal
