I have a push tube leak between the block and tube ,I have tried changeing the gaskets,,,,,,,,I think the push rod is rubing the tube so I checked and not bent ,there brand new.any one had this problem.......its the front exhaust tube. thanks
Get a set of the metal wafer gaskets and make sure the oil port is lining up correctly and the oil return hole in the top of the block by the pushrod tube isn't blocked and the block is aligned correctly when you torque it down . Old trick I still use on troublesome motors is drill the return hole out to a bigger size for better drainage on that front block . If you have those fat cheap *** aluminum pushrods they are rubbing got a box full of those I've pulled from motors over the years .
Yes I have the fat alum push rods, going to change out and I will check the the oil hole in the block.....I dont mind my bike marking its spot but I hate a tube leak ,oil blowing and cooking on everything.once again thanks.
