I ran another auto tune on my PV. Still working on getting things dialed in. Also purchased gloss black forward controls. Got to get riding comfortable finally.
With the way work has been going lately I figure if I don't pull a few all-nighters I'll never get this bike ready to put back on the road; so, night 1:
Torqued the front axle and axle holder, squared up and mounted the front fender. Love how the 90/90 fills the fender! Installed the front Lyndall brake pads, mounted the caliper and bled and flushed the front brakes and put on the axle covers.
On the rear I installed the Lyndall brake pads, mounted the caliper, bled and flushed the rear brakes; then I started getting sleepy... old people, time to put down the tools I still need to align the rear wheel, set belt deflection, torque the axle nut and put on the axle covers to finish up the rear.

Tin Cup. Your bike is looking real good. I am looking at the Pirelli's for my bike. Can you elaborate on the front and the diff between the 90/90/21 and the stock tire? quote: Love how the 90/90 fills the fender!
thanks Bob
there it is! the ness big brake. black spoke covers look good too. wheres the air cleaner? i love those tires. really torn between the metzeler 888 and the pirelli night dragons. stil on wheels and rubber other than that, i'm ready to dual convert. i'm sure some thing silly will pop up too. spacers etc..

Thanks! She's a continuous work in progress
The Pirelli Night Dragon is a 90/90-21, the stock tire is an 80/90-21. The Night Dragon is 10mm wider and as it's maintaining the '90' aspect ratio it's also taller than the stock tire by about 1/2". Add to that the superior tire compound of the ND and it's perfect
The 90/90 fts the stock wheel rim and uses the same tube. I also used 7 ounces of Ride On sealant/balancer and didn't spin balance the wheel; the Ride On will take care of that, I always prefer dynamic balancing to static weights. On tubeless tires I use .25 gram air soft pellets for balancing.
I took a few more shots earlier this morning, I'll post them so you can see how the tire fits the fender. It really looks nice

That Ness Big Brake rotor is sweet, I can't wait to try it out and see if I can shorten my threshold braking distances. Gotta keep upping the game with all the crazy drivers around here. I pulled off the A/C so I could tweak my horseshoe breather, I'll have it back on hopefully tonight or tomorrow.
I'm really a fan of Pirelli tires; I ran the Diablo Rosso Corsa on my R1. The Night Dragon's are the best tires you can put on a Wide Glide if you're running stock sized wheels; with you upping YOUR game by going to dual discs and a larger wheel width you'll have more options but the Pirelli is one nice tire
