Chrome vent opening with LEDs, I put the switch in the USB box and used the existing P&A spare connector in the upper right fairing.
Tour pack lights, half of a set of eight meant for inside a truck bed.
The other four lights are in the trunk, two mounted on each side high and facing forward, and two mounted to the top facing down. You can't really see anything other than the fact that it's fairly well lit up in there.

Yeah, I know, too much crap in there.
There is only too much crap when you have to have someone sit on the lid to close it.

Looking good! I did the chrome vent with some LED's in there also. Did not do them along the windshield trim like yours. I like it!
btw, you have a LOT more room in your trunk for more "crap".
He sure does. My trunk is almost completely full. Full set of Tools/rain suit-boots/sweat shirt/tire repair kit/roadside emergency flashers/large first-aid kit/extra fuel bottle for long trips-also vacuum sealed/plus some smaller items. I have just enough room to put in a leather jacket. Anything that can be compressed, I vacuum seal to save some room.
I know there's suppose to be more room then the saddlebags, but you can't prove it to me. I had all this stuff plus empty room in my saddlebags compared to the trunk.
Maybe I'm just not organizing it correctly.
I used to let it go, and would end up with no room to put anything. (Which I admit sometimes was an advantage when we'd both go somewhere!) As it is, there's a small compressor/Slime kit, a first aid kit, and enough tools for roadside repairs; I'm not doing any serious engine work when I'm on the road. Plus rain gear and an extra layer or two. That's all we really need.
On trips it gets packed with much, much more stuff. And yes, those vacuum bags rule!
The vent LEDs worked out well; not too much light comes up through the vent. I did paint it flat black from the upper opening down to the flapper, and I've got the 3-hole fairing bag in the way. If it's too bad at night I'll just shut the vent or turn them off.
The Custom Dynamics windshield trim came out great when I put it on last year, but it was a real pain. Their installation instructions would have you run the wires through the windshield, and have to balance that and the fairing while hooking up eight sets of wires. I ended up running them differently, and put them on a 4-pin connector for each side. Plus it came straight and wouldn't bend easily, and never did fully meet the curve of the fairing at the ends outside of the outer bolts.

To make more room, I went with the Stop&Go engine air pump kit. Works fantastic and takes up a lot less room then a mini-pump and I don't have to carry around all those little compressed air cartridges.
I was out riding Sunday and an old couple pulled up beside me and said they love my brake lites. I have the Hyper-Lites under the tour pack and a set of Custom Dynamics Trike pulsating tail lites. Not sure which set they were talking about, but I think it was the Custom Dynamics set. They are really noticeable. If someone hits me in the rear, they have to be completely blind.
Drilled four holes on the underside, about 1/2" back from the edge, ran the wires up through them and stuck the LEDs on in front of the holes. Filled the gaps with a hot melt glue gun.
I held the phone inside the trunk for this shot of the left side lights. Now that I'm happy with the coverage, the wiring will be re-done with some black Gorilla tape. The little permanent battery holder/switch assembly will go somewhere convenient when they get here.

Reason: I oopsed.
Cleaned all the bugs off. Then installed the HD rear fender chrome trim. Just ordered the new DK air deflectors & floorboard extensions. When the extensions go on, I will be removing the heel shift lever (just can't make myself like that thing in 2000 miles). I have a Kury spacer coming and will move the toe shift to the outside. Will see how I like that.

Oh, there's a ton of room in the trunk...all the stuff in the pic below, except the jacket, big black bag and cooler are going in the trunk...and I already have the MacAir in the trunk along with the tool bag and a few other items.
