So glad you said that, I didn't get a chance to sneak a ride in yet with it. I'm pretty happy with the HD fairing keeping wind off my chest/arms, but I can't wait to see how the Laminar helps with buffeting in my ears.

yes sir, that's where i found them. we were talking about the roadster before it was made official and i saw the covers on the 48. the 2016 48 has 49mm tubes like the current dynas.. t'was a done deal.. not only that. they are just 10 bucks! mulltihdrdr says they where on vrods too.

Not that it changes anything, but FWIW, those are the same covers used on vrods starting in 2002.

I have been mulling over this small detail - whether to use the OEM covers or the larger ones. Now I think the ones you just showed me will look best and fit the style of this bike better. I test fit the tubes and wheel last night and with the larger covers it makes it look stubby, for lack of a better word. Thanks for the part number!

Edit: I ordered two of them through Boardtracker for $26.95 shipped.

Installed new exhaust, V&H pro pipe 2-1, got it for a bargain on ebay (350 bucks) with only 100 miles from a guy who purchased it and then decided that it wasn't for him, loving it.

Default Bought One

I just purchased a barely ridden, nearly bone stock 2009 Street Bob. I love it so far, and can't wait to truly start making it my own.

Picked up my Mids from powder coat (getting them installled on Monday), ordered bungking front + rear crash bars and sliders.
Added a few things to the revzillla wish list (one day that list will be taken care of).
And think I worked out how to make a radar detector work on the street bob, just working out how to wiring will go.
