I put CVO Breakout Badges on my Road King. I like em, wife likes em, Thats all that matters.

Reminds me of back in the day you might change your Hood ornament on your car, the Pontiac's with the Indian head was always cool.

I say go for it, the tank is a focal point and if you like a different badge do it.

And if it covers up a ding, then win win.

Personally the ones that i like best have had no metal/plastic badge, but have been painted on:

I was a sport bike rider for all my yrs. till I started riding HD's 5 yrs. ago.
Still a big admirer of the UJM products. Anyway.....
I think it would be fun and funny to see the reaction of others if I slapped a Ninja or Hayabusa badge on my Limited.

In 2012 that 318 ornament sold for 32.00 on ebay !

Been told you can't buy most CVO parts without proof of ownership.

just looked on Ebay...............dozens of CVO tank badges.......either side of $250 (but only $50 for VRod CVO tank badge)

The tank badges don't say CVO nor do they say Screaming Eagle. All they say is Harley Davidson.
You can order any of them that you want to from a Dealer as long as they're still in stock.
