I would like to make my bike time period correct? So, how much to take the covers off your hands? :-)

 

Oh, please don't! Those LTR/RTL covers are beyond tacky! I thought they were lame back in the '90's.

That's a damn good looking bike. All it needs is a haircut.

 

I've been taking all the old "cool" stuff off of my EVO as well. The first thing was the Hyper Charger! A Ness Big Sucker fits nicely in it's place with a proper EVO round A/C cover. All of the chrome and gold flame pieces are coming of as well ,as I find plain replacements at swap meets

 

My '93 Heritage Classic was loaded with that stuff - trim rings, derby and ignition cover, everything. I took it all of and I think I gave it all away for the price of shipping. Now everything is plain chrome except for one custom made cover -

 

That live to ride stuff has been uglying up motorcycles since at least `71 (at least that is when I first saw it)...
