The reasoning behind the change was, they are just now getting snow and next week the conditions should be a lot better. I'm still going, but l had some explaining to do to my boss, he was cool about it.

When you first posted I thought you meant they were doing it a week earlier and had already been. I can understand putting it off a week because of the lack of snow, but they still should have told you!
