She is doing surprisingly well, even putting up with my whining an bitchin'. She didn't even say much when I showed her my new shotgun! She did mention though that I better get busy shooting birds with it as she is tired of the gun safe queens. I told her I was a collector....got a good eye roll there.

Just have to find that Browning X-Bolt now in the stainless long range hunter version. Either 300 Win Mag or 30-06. Not enough difference in the ballistics to really make a difference to me. I'm not gonna spend 5K on optics to take advantage of the difference anyway.

Greg, I was thinking about getting a black powder pistol, probably an 1851 Navy. I asked Izzo about them and whether or not the Pietta vs Uberti was a Ford vs Chevy thing. He said they are both good quality just don't forget to cover the cylinders in grease to avoid firing all of them at once. I saw some on sale a Cabelas for less than 200 bucks.
