I love the look of this system! Can anyone comment on how the Bobcat works with a set of Leatherpro FXDXT Retro bags? In other words, does the heat harm the bottom of the right side bag?

I can quote on it i have both.
Bottom line is that stuff in the right bag does get warm (and a little bit smelly - exhaust fumes) but it works fine.
I have done multiple thousand miles with this combo and no issue,
Another TBR user here. It should fit your bike. I definitely recommend a tuner with this pipe. It made a big difference for me. I have the PV tuner from Fuel Moto.
I've seen this bike several times now and I really like what you've done. This is more my tastes and style.
Hi Leafman
Thanks, I have been following your engine build over at HTT. It's looking like you have been rewarded with really useable power. I like your setup, the bike looks like its a really flexible sport/touring rig. Our Super Glides appear to have evolved along a similar path, I have also been considering some form of quick release bags and short traditional HD windshield for use this spring.
D&D FatCat on my 2006 Low Rider with the Wide Glide forward controls
In a world full of black bikes yours is a refreshing throwback to a time when looking at a Harley on a sunny day made you squint with a smile on your face. Well done!
I've always been a fan of the Bassani Road Rage 1D5250. Here are my last three bikes, the Low Rider has a Trashin Supply exhaust but from what I hear its just a stainless 1D5250 marketed by Thrashin'. Pretty sure it will work on a Wide Glide.
