First thing I added to my bike was the Vance and Hines 3" slip-ons. Decent sound at a decent price IMO.

I reckon the rear fender strut covers look way better in black, that was a must for me. The tyres are next.

I think you will like the slip on pipes. I have a 14 FB and I have installed a small wind screen, the buffeting will drive you crazy, The slip-on pipes, I also installed the removable back rest, a Roland Sands black belt guard, the black fender supports, a DH customs 586 air cleaner and a V&H FP3. That is about all I will do to the bike. I would like to get a set of Two Brothers Racing exhaust, but not for 1k.

I have a 15 FXDF, I think the fat bob is pretty comfy off the line, I would put some miles down before you drop it into suspension, stocks not the best but its good for now. I just installed Bassani Road Rage 3 exhaust , Saddlemen step-up seat, risers with tracker bars, SE Ventilator AC and FP3. Next winters list is FXRD deviant fairing, Ohlin suspension, cams and custom paint..

A good tuner should be on the top of your list. They're geared way too tall also. Regearing is a nice bang for the buck where you can feel it.

Fairing: Gander at Memphis Shades & compare to HD's offerings. Both are good choices.

Seats: Lots to choose from, but Mustang rises to top, for me, in the comfort dept. Also, you can demo seats at your local HD to see if anything works...possibly work discount.

Suspension: If money's no option, loot at Ohlin. Otherwise Progressive is x1000 better than stock HD.

Good luck, sure others w/FB's will chime in & enjoy that bike!
Forget the Harley quick detach fairings, they buffet like hell on most rides, a great little screen that you can move around and keeps the wind off your chest is the National cyle screens, I have the Gladiator for summer, and the deflector for winter, both are awesome, and you can move them in any angle possible.

Another thing you might consider for total peace of mind, after you have done the first service, is to fit a True Track or Sputhe stabiliser system to front and rear engine mounts, you can read in the forum why we put these on our rides, you will have a lot more peace of mind, pic below is my ride with some lowers on for winter, and the Gladiator screen, that I love.
