Default RAM Suction Cup Mount - Phone holder

Any ever tried the RAM 3.3" Diameter Suction Cup Base with B Size 1" Ball? I'm thinking about getting that and sticking it to the blank on the left of the infotainment system.

Of course, relying on suction, I'm a little hesitant due to vibrations... But, I may give it a shot. Thoughts?

It's not the vibration so much is the change in temps I've found. I have the suction cup model and this

It's called a Claw Mount. I use it with an X Grip on my Android phone when I absolutely have to have a GPS. Of course the image didn't show. Google Ram Claw Mount.

The Ram Claw Mount will work next to the handlebar controls in front of the reservoir? I really prefer that location so I don't have to use any other Ram extenders and such.

They make several claw variations. I need to know exactly which model will clamp on to the handlebar directly in front of the reservoir - there is very limited space to do so.

We use RAM mounts in the cockpit for our iPads, and they mount has 2 suction cups.

Some days, it holds perfectly. And some days, it's a struggle to not throw the whole contraption out the window.

I am not a fan of suction on the bike.

If it fails in the car, it fall on the floor. If it fails on the bike - well, it will likely be destroyed
