I also replaced the shift linkage I had the same oem linkage as the last poster had (with pix). I'm happy to have gotten both done ,bagger bolts AND shift linkage, I had to use the stock nut, for the front part of the linkage,the cap nut that came with the linkage hit the front jug, we can't have that.

Did the shift linkage, 3 hole oil change and compound and wax.

A 2008 requires a Load Equalizer.
Ordered the, Triple Play module also. This allows the directional lights to work as brake lights too.
